Week 1: Lines and Angles

In our first week we learned how to label and measure lines and angles, and were introduced to Bubble.us, which is a program we will be using throughout the semester. For your extra credit assignment, I want you to go through 5 angle conversion problems in section 2.1 using Bubble.us, and submit it to me via email. The email address I want you to submit the extra credit assignment to is: HakesHomeworkTurnIn@gmail.com. I already gave this email in class, but this is in case you missed it on the white board.

Here is an example of what I am looking for to be attached in the email:

- Name

Mr. Hakes

- List of problems solved

pg. 80 # 31, 32, 33, 34, 35

- Attachments of .jpg that are pictures of work to solve the problems

If you have any questions concerning the problems, how to use Bubble.us, or how to email me, then let me know in class on Monday.

This week's goal:
  • Learn how to use Bubble.us by solving problems out of the book
  • Confirm you know how to send an email to my turn in email address
  • Practice converting angle measurements from degree, minute, second notation to decimal notation, and vice-versa
Due date:
  •  5 problems from text are due by the first test, which will be on Friday 2 weeks from now

These problems will also help you study for the test, so keep this in mind as the test date approaches. Have a fun weekend!
